Orion Extension Tube (1.25")

• Used when star diagonal is removed to allow focus - eg: Orion StarShoot Autoguider in ST80 OTA without star diagonal in place. The 1.25" extension tube moves the Autoguider back far enough to reach the facal plane.
• Provides extra focuser "back travel" often needed for short-range terrestrial viewing.
• Anodized, machined aluminum tube adds 2" of extension.
• Two locking thumbscrews and threaded for filters.
• Fits 1.25" eyepieces or focusers.

This anodized, machined aluminum 1.25" Orion Eyepiece Extension Tube provides extra focuser "back travel" sometimes needed to achieve focus with certain eyepiece / telescope combinations.

More back travel is often needed for short-range terrestrial viewing or with use of a field flattener, coma corrector, or focal reducer lens.

Adds 2" of length extension. It has two locking thumbscrews and is threaded for filters.
