Crago Observatory

This observatory is owned and operated by The Astronomical Society of New South Wales. It is located 200 metres along the Burralow Fire Trail on Bowen Mountain near North Richmond on the outskirts of Sydney (1.5 hours by car from city centre). It houses a 40cm f/7 telescopes. The observatory is opened Friday and Saturday nights (not every weekend) dependent on Moon Phases. Visitors are most welcome. Experienced astronomers conduct Sky Tours showing the wonders of the Southern Shies.
