The new lighting technology, which the Eschenbach
LED illuminated magnifiers are based on, produces a brilliant and steady
illumination. A range of three illuminated magnifiers and pocket illuminated
magnifiers with the innovative LED technology helps you to save a lot of
batteries. In addition, the bulb no longer needs to be replaced. It lasts
for a lifetime.
Illuminated magnifiers with conventional lighting
have the disadvantage that the batteries are flat after a relatively short
time and thus have to be replaced. This calls for skill in changing batteries,
and in the long run above all incurs costs for new batteries. And conventional
bulbs also only have a limited life.
In contrast, the LED (light-emitting diode) has
a service life of about 100,000 hours and thus never needs to be replaced.
The LEDs power consumption is controlled by high-grade electronics, which
means that the two batteries which are used last about five times longer
than those used with conventional illuminated magnifiers. This makes the
Eschenbach LED illuminated magnifiers the most economical in the world.
The possibility of replacing the existing filter
in front of the LED with a special yellow filter allows the magnifier to
be used by a greatly increased number of users.
Of course the light-weight lenses have the tried
and tested cera-tec® hard coating, which protects the surface
from all sorts of environmental influences.

Application:
Using economic LED illumination the mobilux
LED series is recommended particularly when the illuminated pocket magnifier
is used frequently.
Characteristics:
The same adjusting distance (a^), distance from
eye to virtual image of 400 m applies to aspherical magnifying readers.
So the image can be seen in sharp relief by using a reading glass, addition
+2.5 dpi.
Maximum image quality is achieved by observing
the calculated distance to the eye stated on the reading glass.
Lamp need not be changed. The LED illumination
used has a virtually indefinite service life.
The light colour can be adapted to suit individual
requirements by using the enclosed filter.
