Description

SkyWatcher's Black Diamond 200mm x 1000mm (f/5) Newtonian reflector.

An ideal combination of aperture and portability.

The Black Diamond series includes an 8x50 finder and 28mm (2") wide angle eyepiece.

It also features a 2" Crayford focuser  with  2" -1.25" adapter and t-thread attachment for imaging applications.

The EQ5 Pro comes with the SynScan Goto controller allowing easy slewing to any object from the complete Messier, NGC, and IC catalogues.


The Black Diamond 200mm optical tube assembly features


200mm x 1000mm (f/5) Diffraction-limited parabolic primary mirror.
Thin secondary mirror support vanes minimise diffraction

200mm primary mirror provides outstanding views of thousands of deep-sky luminaries. 78% more light gathering power than 150mm, 137% more light than 130mm. This is a serious tool for the avid deep sky hunter.

9x50 achromatic finderscope for easy location of objects

2" Crayford focuser supplied with 2"-1.25" adapter.


Secondary mirror: 52mm (only 6.8% obstruction of light gathering area) providing outstanding contrast on low surface brightness targets
