We meet the first Monday of every month at 7pm
Membership of the Society is open to all individuals of all ages.
A annual fee of $16.00 is payable by all members.
$3.00 is also payable for attendance at meetings.
For those applying to join part way through the year (which begins in July), a partial fee is payable (reducing pro rata per quarter).
FOR MAY 2014’S MEETING – WE WILL BE TRIALLING THE BOAMBEE EAST COMMUNITY CENTRE, BRUCE KING DRIVE.
Win Howard (02) 6653 2742

There is usually a discussion of recent events of interest in the astronomical world, then a short talk. If the sky is clear after the main meeting, there will be the chance to observe the sky with members’ telescopes or binoculars. Even from this suburban location, it is possible to see the Moon and planets (when favourably positioned), plus star clusters, nebulae and galaxies beyond our own Milky Way galaxy.
