Calling all science fiction and space enthusiasts!

I’m Oliver Read, a medical student at ANU working with Dr. Brad Tucker. We are doing a state-of-the-art survey on space medicine, and how science fiction influences perceptions and opinions on the health effects of travelling in space and living on Mars.

We are looking for participants to give us information about their familiarity with space science fiction, what they have gained from it, and what they believe are the dangers in going to Mars.
You do not need to be an expert on the topic to participate! If you are not familiar with space fiction, we’d still like to hear from you!

It should take 10 or so minutes and you must be aged 18 or older to participate.
You will be part of a cutting-edge study, laying a foundation for future research on space health awareness and education.

You may opt in to have the study results sent to you when data analysis is complete.

More information and the link to the survey can be found here.

The ethical aspects of this research have been approved by the ANU Human Research Ethics Committee (Protocol 2022/647).
