2x Barlow lens T-Threaded – a handy accessory to have in your eyepiece case.
Bintel’s 2x Barlow lens doubles the power of any standard 1.25″ eyepiece.
This achromatic Barlow lens is fully multicoated for maximum contrast.
Just insert the Barlow lens into your telescope’s focuser (or diagonal), and slip the eyepiece into the Barlow lens.
A Barlow lens is a great way to squeeze more magnification out of your telescope without buying lots of eyepieces. It also allows you to use longer focal length eyepieces with nice big, comfortable eyelenses to provide higher powers.
A nice feature is the addition of a T2 adapter machined into the top housing of the Barlow. This allows you to use the Barlow as a camera adapter in one of two ways.
Firstly, the Barlow can be screwed directly to small astronomy camers such as the ZWO camera below. An excellent option for imaging the Moon and Planets.
Alternatively you may prefer to unscrew the Barlow lens housing turning it into a standard 1.25″ camera adapter (shown below).
End caps supplied to keep dust out.
