The Nikon Aculon 12×50 provides a slightly higher power than most standard field binoculars, but with the wide 50mm objective lenses utilised by the Aculon series, a broader field of view compensates for this extra magnification. This allows a 12×50 to bring you closer to the action, while still maintaining superb and steady views of your target, be that the name printed on the side of a distant boat motoring across the bay, or the cows at the far end of your paddock. Please note that these binoculars are not waterproof, but the similar Nikon Action EX 12×50 is.
