This essential reference features an alphabetical listing of every deep-sky object in our Sky Atlas 2000.0.

If you own Sky Atlas 2000.0,  Deluxe, Field or Desk Edtion, you will find this reference book invaluable.  Every Deep Sky Object on the maps are listed in this companion in alphabetical order.

Detailed description of each object include object type (galaxy, open cluster, planetary nebula, globular cluster), constellation, celestial coordinates, visual magnitude, angular size and the Star Atlas 2000.0 chart(s) that it appears on. For many objects it may have number of stars, distance in light years and hubble classification (for galaxies)

When used in the field it helps when choosing which eyepiece to use and with the description on hand helps with positive identification of objects (very helpful in Virgo and Coma galaxies fields.)

Objects are listed by Proper name and Messier and then NGC numbers.

It is a great reference manual when plotting your next observing session or checking details on you last session, A very useful tool to the visual observer and astro-imager alike.
