Designed with the discerning astrophotographer in mind, the SkyWatcher Esprit 100 refractor delivers premium performance. Every aspect of manufacturing and construction is strictly controlled resulting in performance one would expect from telescopes costing thousands of dollars more.

With their three-element air spaced objective lens design, false colour is completely eliminated yielding exceptional contrast and sharpness. The included 2-element field corrector guarantees a flat field across the entire imaging plane. The Sky-Watcher exclusive Helinear Track focusing system provides a smooth, rock-solid focuser with zero image shift.

The SkyWatcher Esprit 100 comes with a 9×50 right angle finderscope, 2-inch star diagonal, 2-element field flattener, camera adapters, wide dovetail plate and aluminium carry case. It is supplied as an optical tube assembly with no mount. Please feel free to discuss your requirements with us. SkyWatcher Esprit 100 ED Super APO Triplet – Dedicated Field Flattener

An optimized doublet field flattener is supplied ensuring a flat field with minimal aberrations or distortion. It’s wide 48mm diameter provides a larger and clearer aperture eliminating vignetting compared to smaller 42mm T-threads.  This is of considerable importance when imaging with full frame sensors. The doublet field flattener couples to the focuser with a machined adapter ring. The result is a secure camera connection maintaining perfect alignment between the focal plane and your camera sensor.
