Al Nagler has taken the wide field concept and brought Nagler-like performance down to the 60°+ class of eyepiece. The result is the Panoptic, a sharp, wide field eyepiece that has kept size, weight, and cost down, whilst improving performance right to the edge of the field.

An excellent premium quality low power wide field eyepiece. It is ideal for observing large emission and reflection nebulae, Supernova Remnants and large open star clusters.

It is well-suited for any telescope with a focal ratio of f/5 or longer offering 7mm exit pupil at f/5. Works wonderfully in SCT’s for large field of view.

It has a huge 28mm of eye relief and can be used by eyeglass wearers with no vignetting of the field. This is a lot of eyepiece so its heavy weight may cause some minor concern in Dobsonians.
